Hello! 

Welcome to my space, where we get to connect over our love of life and the upcoming arrival of your new baby!

Why "Graceful Birth"?  The name of my business is based on my belief that our birth stories can be filled with grace-moments; moments that will leave you remembering your birth with joy and gratitude. Moments where your needs are recognized and your preferences and wishes are supported and upheld.  These memories instill confidence in your body's design and the awesome experience of giving birth to a new life.  My desire as a doula is to be one of those means of grace and help you navigate the birth process.

Personal experience has shaped my view that every women should be equipped to approach her labor confident in her body’s ability to birth.  My work as a doula supports each mama in her particular needs and desires; taking into account personality, past experiences, and expectations of her upcoming birth.  My heartbeat is to discover how I can come alongside and encourage the strength I see given to women for this good work.  I believe that children are a huge gift; one that stretches our capacities and helps us discover a love like none other.

When I’m not reading, drinking coffee, or looking for a child's missing shoe, I’m homeschooling my ten kiddos and loving the adventure of life with my husband Nathan, in the Raleigh, NC area.
